Value for money?

Motorised window blinds and curtains can be a smart move.  Remote control and building management systems can sound like something far off in the future but if they add value to your home and increase the selling potential, it must be worth considering.

In the dream home survey (Clare Andrews, Selling Up.Com), 36% of people said the presence of electric blinds or curtains would be a definite draw, versus 8% who preferred the manual variety.

The preference between genders was identical at 36% in favour, and across age groups ranged between 44% (18-24s) and 28% (65+).

The survey positively points towards the benefit of incorporating such a system and the cost can be recouped in the value and desirability of the houses selling potential.
